Off Road Linear Style LED Lightbar FAQs
TOMAR’s TR Series lights pack a punch of lumens, but we don’t stop there. TOMAR is one of the only illumination manufacturers who list Lux specifications on our product listings, which is a more accurate way of comparing one light to another. Lux accounts not just for raw lumens, but how those lumens are directed through optics and actually illuminate an area. Optics are our in-house specialty, and we can provide better performance with superior optics.

Each of bars has a Lumen rating on its individual lighting page.
We can provide better illumination through our Clear Vision Optics™ rather than increasing current draw on a lamp by increasing the number of LEDs.
TOMAR’s TR Series have a limited lifetime warranty when purchased directly through TOMAR.com to our retail-level customers.
Yes. TOMAR’s TR Series offers many combinations of white and amber dual-color bards.
Amber reduces light output and reflection, allowing some increased benefits of vision in environments where weather is inclement or dusty.
Scene Light FAQs
TOMAR offers many versions of our scene lights which each have a lumen rating, but we don’t stop there.

Each light is different due to different specifications, all of our scene lights can be found on the light’s individual listing page herein: https://automotive.tomar.com/collections/scene-lighting
We can provide better illumination through our Clear Vision Optics™ rather than increasing current draw on a lamp by increasing the number of LEDs. This helps us keep all of your scene lighting 12-24VDC friendly, rather than needing 110VAC converters.
TOMAR’s standard LED warranty is for 5 years from date of purchase.

NFPA FAQs
All TOMAR optical warning and audible devices can be configured to meet NFPA 1900. When selecting a system, NFPA 1900 requirements should be considered and a subsequent selection of TOMAR lights can both meet and exceed those standards for safe responses and on-scene blocking. Working with your OEM or a TOMAR employee can help you determine if what you want meets NFPA 1900, as our staff constantly stays trained on the latest safety standards.
TOMAR’s 970, 937, Revolution, RECT, iLED, Siren Speakers, TR Series, Aspire, 940, and 948 Series meet NFPA 1900 requirements.
TOMAR can custom design an NFPA package based on your specific vehicle type. Contacting TOMAR is the best way to know you are getting the parts you need.
DOT FAQs
Yes, TOMAR’s DOT 970 and Revolution Stop/Tail and Turn
lamps meet specific FMVSS standards for light output and placement.
In some cases, FMVSS allows a stop lamp to double as a turn signal. We recommend checking FMVSS Standard 108 against your type of vehicle to see if this is allowed.
On the Revolution Series, the LED pattern follows that of the rest of the series - The R37 and R79 feature rows where the R46 features dual rings.
Infrared (IR) FAQs
940 nanometer (nm)
TOMAR’s IR lamps in our TR series produce a similar amount of illumination to their visible white LED counterparts.
Some phone screens can see a small red glow on the printed circuit board where the IR LED is located.
Controllers & Sirens FAQs
TOMAR’s 940 and 948 Siren’s can be programmed using the digital control panel, as described in the instructions.
We offer a Carson Siren which has a separate, dual-tone with a total of 200watts.
TOMAR offers several Carson Sirens which feature different functions than TOMAR’s 940 and 948.
TOMAR’s standard siren warranty is for 5 years from date of purchase.
TOMAR’s 940 and 948 Sirens are the only sirens which can control a TOMAR 970 Lightbar optioned with the RJ-45 connector.
