NFPA Externally Controlled LED Lights
Externally Controlled Lamps
Externally controlled lamps have been pre-programmed to Direct Control Mode (steady-burn which bypasses the internal flasher) for use in systems where a centralized controller is controlling the timing of the warning lights.
Single Color Lamps
For single color lamps, the primary wire activates the steady-burn.
Dual Color Lamps
For dual-color lamps, the primary wire activates the steady-burn of the first color, and the secondary wire activates the secondary color. The lamps can be controlled by competitive products which can meet draw requirements and provide a 12-24 +VDC flash signal.
